Next Level Sketch! Cycling in Oxford! Return to Seoul!
This week’s newsletter is yer classic liquorice allsorts
Hello valued readers!
A short-ish newsletter this week, as I have not been brilliantly well. For ease of navigation I have split things up into three handy cultural categories…
Stuff I’m performing in
Next Level Sketch are back at Hoopla Impro in London Bridge on Wednesday, with a staggeringly GOOD lineup of guest comedians alongside our own funny nonsense.
We are also doing a guest set at the Bristol Improv Theatre tonight, if we can lure people in from the sunshine.
Stuff I’m not performing in
In lieu of my weekly round-up, let me recommend three specific shows at Brighton Fringe this weekend - Mark Silcox, Leslie Bloom solves a murder, and the Extra Topping Comedy Showcase. Fun is guaranteed at all these events (no refunds, my opinions are not legally binding).
Other stuff
Please enjoy a slightly rambling blog post I wrote about cycling and active travel in Oxford, in which I eventually give the entire city a B-.
This week’s movie tip is the moving and absorbing French-Korean drama Return to Seoul, which I saw in what might be the loveliest cinema in England.
More words next week! Have a good weekend and bank holiday, for those who celebrate.
